Distro update - Inhumano

And yes - it's time for a new distro update! This time it's from a trade I did with Carlos from Inhumano. He's releasing quality records and has some good South American bands on his roster so it was about time I picked up some cool stuff. Here it is:

En Mi Defensa - Silencios LP SOLD OUT

BBS Paranoicos - Cruces LP

Asunto - Retornos SOLD OUT

Wank for Peace - Fail Forward LP

U&P 021 - KPD-0 2LP OUT NOW!

Oh well - I guess there's a first time for everything... And KPD-0 is the first Bulgarian band that I am releasing on vinyl. This double 12" LP is the ultimate release of the cult Sofia underground band КПД-0. It consists of "II" and "Зад стените на голямата къща" - an album and an EP, originally recorded in 2002 and 2004.

Double vinyl limited to 154 hand-numbered copies in a gatefold cover with each artwork, developed on matt photo paper and hand glued. Includes a 12-page booklet with lyrics and band history from the perspective of key Sofia underground musicians. All imperfections are on purpose.

U&P 022 Band Of Mercy - Veganocracy 7" pre-orders are online

Hello folks, it's time to announce the next U&P release.

Dead Truth Recordings (USA) and Ugly & Proud Records (Bulgaria) are extremely humbled and proud to announce the release of Band Of Mercy’s 3^rd 7”, the final chapter of the Veganocracy trilogy. Veganocracy picks up where the first 2 7’s left off: more aggro militant vegan fist pumping, foot stomping hardcore, calling out fence-walkers, and excuse-makers that is destined to piss off a lot of people from the jump. BOM shares members with Texas political rockers, Die Young and Florida’s metal-core resurgents, Axis, in their ranks. Veganocracy even features a guest guitar solo appearance by Scott Crouse of Earth Crisis. DTR and U&P will have exclusive limited colors to their respective webstores (as well as a pre-order only shirt) and DTR will be releasing the Veganocracy trilogy (discography) with bonus tracks on CD. The Veganocracy 7” and CD will also be the first releases in conjunction with the vegan collective DTR imprint, Green Panther Press. Pre-orders are up now in both web stores. Check out the lyric video for the opening track, Personal Problem. VEGAN POWER.

Pressing info:

150x green wax (US press)

150x orange wax (Rest of the world press)

100x black wax

And there is an exclusive shirt design available only through pre-order!

U&P 020 - Youth Crew 2016 comp 7" pre-orders are up!

The test pressings have been approved and the pre-orders for the new Youth Crew 2016 comp 7" are now online! Get yours while you can!

In 2008, Positive And Focused Records released the first edition of the Youth Crew compilation. The idea behind the compilation was to present and support some of the best new youth crew bands from all over the world. It turned into a bi-annual tradition, and after Youth Crew 2010, Youth Crew 2012 and Youth Crew 2014, we have now arrived at the fifth editon of the Youth Crew compilations, Youth Crew 2016. For this edition, Positive And Focused Records is joined by five other labels – SP Discos from Peru (although based in Germany these days), Ugly And Proud from Bulgaria, Speedowax from the UK, State Of Mind from the US and Commitment from The Netherlands. The 2016 edition features eight straight edge bands from three different continents: Modern Problems, Spirits and Face It from the USA, Toma El Riesgo from El Salvador, Tomar Control from Peru, Stand Clear from Indonesia, Awake from Portugal and Zero Eight One from Italy. Some songs are very fast, some are very melodic, some are even a bit raw, but it's all, without any exception, music that will make you jump around, fingerpoint and sing-a-long in your room with a big smile on your face in no time – as that is what youthcrew does! The 7” comes limited to 520 copies (120 on old school black, 200 yellow and 200 green) and the artwork was again done by Javi – just like all previous editions.
